Leeds were forced to come from behind to beat QPR on Saturday, and the performance of Kemar Roofe should put him firmly in the conversation for the best player in the Championship.
When asked who is the best player in the Championship, most fans would veer towards the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Harvey Barnes and Neal Maupay, but Roofe should definitely be in with a shout after his recent performances.
The 25 year-old missed all of September and most of October with an injury, but still has ten goals and two assists to his name this season.

He has six goals in his last seven starts, and four of those six goals have come in draws or wins by just one goal, showing he is scoring at crucial times in a crowded promotion race where every point could prove decisive.
His performance against QPR on Saturday may just have been his greatest display since joining the Whites back in 2016, as he absolutely dominated the visiting centre backs at Elland Road.
Roofe fired in an incredible eight shots, five of which were on target, and his brace of course decided the game.
He grabbed his first goal at an absolutely vital point in the match just before half time, and showed great composure to convert from the spot after the break.
He won two aerial duels and completed 92 per cent of his overall passes, an incredible statistic for a lone striker, and he also provided chances for his teammates with two lovely key passes.
Roofe’s abilities to hold the ball up on his own against towering centre backs, bring others into play, and most of all stick the ball into the back of the net should make him a front-runner for player of the season, particularly if the Whites get promoted.
So, Leeds fans, do you think Roofe is your best player? How impressed were you by his display against QPR? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
