Ancelotti has been expected to leave Real Madrid at the end of this season, as Los Blancos have struggled for results despite their fantastic summer transfer window. However, after the 15-time European champions were humiliated by Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-final, reports have suggested that the Italian will depart later this month after Madrid's Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

Brazil sacked head coach Dorival Junior earlier this month after the Selecao's 4-1 loss to Argentina, and as per The Independent, they are now considering making a move for Ancelotti as soon as he leaves Real Madrid. The Brazilian national team has also been loosely linked with former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who is reportedly unhappy in his role as Red Bull's Director of Football.
