Enzo dreamt of playing at the highest level in European football like his father who is widely considered as one of the greatest players to have ever graced the sport. However, as years went by, the midfielder realised that his career was not on a path of progress which slowly demoralised him. Per AS, in 2023, when he moved to the Spanish third division, the player had already made up his mind to quit football and he finally took the call in September 2024.
