With football called off for the foreseeable future, there are plenty of questions to answer around withstanding transfer agreements and loans that are set to become permanent.
One worry that Leeds fans will naturally have is around the £15m that they owe Wolves for the permanent transfer of Helder Costa.
It’s certainly food for thought as United’s deal to sign Costa permanently would have been triggered at the end of the season, but with the campaign’s end-point seemingly up in the air, it’s unknown what will happen.

The fan-base may feel that £15m is a lot of money for any club to stump up in the Championship, especially when you consider the club’s current FFP situation.
However, the reality is that United needn’t worry about this deal as the £15m fee is nowhere near as daunting as it sounds.
Don’t forget, Leeds didn’t shell out for a single player last summer despite receiving £7m for Kemar Roofe and £5.5m for Pontus Jansson.
Away from that, United were never going to pay £15m this summer anyway.
The Athletic’s Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers has previously relayed information given to him by Phil Hay, and he states that the deal is structured in such a way that Leeds will be paying Wolves in £4m instalments, year on year.
So, there’s no need to worry really. Costa will become a permanent fixture in Leeds’ squad at some point, but whether or not the Whites have been promoted by then doesn’t matter as the finances of the deal aren’t going to land them in hot water anytime soon.
This should act as a major relief for not only Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta, but for any fans who may have concerns too.
In other news, Marcelo Bielsa may have just saved Leeds a lot of money.
