A number of Liverpool fans have urged head coach Jurgen Klopp to select Naby Keita for Wednesday’s Champions League with Genk.
The midfielder made his first Premier League appearance of the season against Manchester United on Sunday – featuring for the final eight minutes at Old Trafford.
Indeed, Keita has been on the sidelines for much of the campaign with a muscular problem that he picked up ahead of the UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea in August.
The 24-year-old is now back to fitness, however, and has been included in the squad for Wednesday’s European fixture against Genk.
Klopp is bound to shuffle his pack following Sunday’s clash at Old Trafford, and it would be fair to assume that midfield could be an area where alterations are made.
