Chelsea followed up a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend with a flat performance on Thursday. After the match, manager Emma Hayes lamented her side's poor "technical execution." The result cost Chelsea the chance to leapfrog surprise group leaders Hacken, who have already beaten Real Madrid and Paris FC this term.
WHAT CHARLES SAID
Speaking to Chelsea's official channels after the match, Charles said: "We created chances but we should have created more as well. The chances we did create, I think we can look and say we should be putting some of them away.
"Sometimes that's just football. We know ourselves that we can be so much better. [We had] all the shots but not many on target, that's immediately something we have to look at. We'll have other chances in the group. We want to win every game but it's not the end of the world, but we know we can be a lot better."

After two consecutive games without a win and with only one goal scored, Chelsea will look to bounce back with a positive result against WSL strugglers Bristol City on Sunday. On Wednesday they'll have the chance to take control of their Champions League group when they face Hacken in Goteborg.
