Last season, in his debut campaign at Anfield, Dominic Solanke made 27 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions. His promising performances for Jurgen Klopp’s side even earned him his first senior England cap.
This season, however, Solanke is yet to even make the bench for a Premier League fixture. The 21-year-old’s career has stalled to such an extent that he’d be wise to seek a loan move in January in order to get back to playing regular football again and avoid being forgotten about.

Given that he is clearly surplus to requirements, Liverpool would likely sanction such a switch for Solanke in the upcoming winter transfer window. Given this state of affairs, Rangers boss and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard ought to use his influence at Anfield to bring Solanke to Ibrox Stadium.
The Gers are in need of goalscorers and Solanke has to get back to playing regularly, making this a move that suits all involved.
Rangers fans certainly seem to agree, with 90% voting in favour of the move in our recent poll. See the full results below.
