Seven England players were named in the latest FIFPRO Women’s XI, with Toone joined in that selection by club colleague Mary Earps, Manchester City pair Alex Greenwood and Keira Walsh, Lucy Bronze of Barcelona, Arsenal forward Alessia Russo and Chelsea winger Lauren James.

The Lionesses enjoyed rubbing shoulders with fellow superstars at the FIFA Best wards at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, but were quick to let their hair down afterwards. Toone posted a video on TikTok of her enjoying a post-show McDonald’s, with the talented playmaker saying as she savoured a helping of fries: “From the FIFA awards, to the golden arches. Come on!”
