Since then, he has enjoyed far more opportunities, and has started and completed the full 90 minutes in United’s last 15 games in the top-flight.
Against Wolves, he looked short of ideas and was very lucky to not gift Wolves the opener when his first-half error was saved by VAR’s intervention. The display may just give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer some food for thought over potentially taking him out of the firing line for a couple of games, and simply recharging his batteries.
