Arteta reveals where Arsenal must improveGunners are top of the table at ChristmasHeld Liverpool to 1-1 draw at AnfieldWHAT HAPPENED?
The Arsenal manager was happy to get a point out of the top-of-the-table Premier League clash against Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield despite missing the services of some of their key players. Yet the Spanish manager has revealed what his team need to do in the second part of the campaign to maintain their lead at the top and eventually win the league title.

Speaking to reporters at the post-match press conference, Arteta said, "Yeah of course there are certain things that we have to improve. Especially killing games. Sometimes the results have been too close. But we have shown a good level with five key players out. That’s something we have to maintain."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Gunners defenders William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes were at their best as they managed to keep the lethal Liverpool attack at bay for the larger part of the game. Magalhaes had even handed his team the lead in the fourth minute of the game with a clinical header from Martin Odegaard's free-kick. Mohamed Salah then equalised for the hosts in the 24th minute with a brilliant solo effort inside the box after receiving the ball from an equally good delivery from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
