Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Christian Pulisic, but the Reds would be much better served swooping for Italian wonderkid Federico Chiesa.
What’s the story?
According to reports, both Liverpool and Chelsea could lure Pulisic away from Borussia Dortmund with a £70m deal.
The American speedster is constantly linked with moves to the Premier League, but Chiesa would be a much better signing for Liverpool.
The Reds are lacking creativity to feed their front three, and Chiesa could play a similar role to Xherdan Shaqiri, adding both depth on the wings and a creative spark from the middle.

Why would he be a good signing?
Chiesa has had a remarkable rise through the ranks at Fiorentina, amassing 85 appearances for first team despite only turning 21 in October.
The youngster already has 11 Italy caps to his name as well, and his versatility, work ethic and ability to produce something out of nothing would make him the perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s growing squad.
The 21 year-old mostly plays on the right wing, but has also played on the opposite flank, as a second striker, and even deeper in central midfield or as a number ten.
He has two goals and two assists in Serie A this season, and is averaging an incredible 3.7 shots, 1.7 key passes and 2.5 dribbles per game.
Unlike Pulisic, Chiesa isn’t only about speed, flair and creativity though, averaging 1.5 tackles per game, while the American boasts just 0.4 tackles per game.
Chiesa is a star in the making, and the youngster is absolutely tailor-made for gegenpressing. He loves cutting inside from the wing, something Klopp likes his wingers to do, and would add yet another creative influence when the Reds are struggling to unlock deep-lying teams.
