U.S. internationals Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah started AC Milan's final match of the 2024-25 campaign on Saturday as the defeated Monza 2-0. Second-half goals from Matteo Gabbia and Joao Felix secured all three points, as Milan ended the season with a win and a points total of 63.
Pulisic played 86 minutes, while Musah was removed at halftime after a rather uneventful cameo for the Italian side.
Ahead of the match, a massive protest was staged by fans outside of the San Siro, while midway through the first half, the Milan ultras abandoned their section of the stadium, walking out of the match in protest of ownership.
Milan finished outside of a European placement spot, and will not feature in any UEFA competition next season.

Pulisic's 2024-25 campaign with Milan ended on an up note, with the American scoring 11 goals and recording nine assists in 33 regular season appearances. Across all competitions, he bagged 17 total goals while registering 10 assists, with the U.S. international setting a single-season scoring record at the club level.
Pulisic has opted out of playing for the USMNT in the Gold Cup.
Musah, meanwhile, appeared in 29 Serie A matches, recording two assists. Saturday marked his second-straight start for the club, but prior to the two-game stretch, had been reduced to a bench role for eight games – including five where he went as an unused substitute. Musah will not play for the U.S. in the Gold Cup, either.

Milan have finished outside of a European placement spot in Serie A this season for the first time since the 2019-20 season, in which the club voluntarily withdrew as a result of a Financial Fair Play settlement with UEFA.

Neither Musah or Pulisic will be competing with the USMNT this summer.
Musah asked to be excluded for personal reasons, while Pulisic's camp approached U.S. Soccer requesting that he be given the summer off due schedule congestion regarding the number of matches he has played over the past two years.
Milan will report for preseason for the 2025-26 campaign in July.
