Porro scores superb goalSpurs had been frustratedTook a late 1-0 leadWHAT HAPPENED?
Porro scored Spurs' only goal on the night after 78 minutes, as he controlled a loose clearance, stepped forward and smashed the ball into the top corner, in a strike reminiscent of Bale's glory days in north London. Tottenham had been frustrated to that point, with Burnley proving a tough nut to crack.

Porro had not actually scored this season before Friday, but his strike came at a vital time for Ange Postecoglou's side, who had seemed somewhat ragged against the Clarets. He does have history of scoring goals, and had scored two in previous games for Spurs, but he is perhaps better known as a creator from wing-back.
